DAY 1-5

Day 1-5 were all sea days. Got to LA, took a shuttle to Port of San Pedro then left. This was probably the longest 5 days of my life. Ate a lot, watched a lot of shows, ate more, donated money to the casino, ate more, pool, ate more, more shows, ate more, trivia, and ate even more.

Speaking of Trivia... we did about 2 every day. Winners received keychains, lanyards, clips, etc. All I can say is... there are a ton of smart people. Trivia was always really really f***ing hard too!

Example: What country does this flag represent?
There were these group of 4 old ladies that would always win. Always.. HOW DO YOU KNOW EVERYTHING!? FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO THEN MEMORIZE SENSELESS S***. thanks.

Alyssa got hooked up with an Elite Card! It takes 15 cruises or 150 days at sea to get one. TONS OF PERKS!!

Our Inside Cabin. Not the best but not bad! No lighting made it easy to sleep
Bed
Shower is so small.. if I dropped the soap, my butt would be in the hallway .
LOS ANGELES- why you so cold and smoggy
AARP convention.
If you look close you could see 5-600 dolphins! They were following us out from LA!
Hole in one on a par 3
The girlfr-enemy
The Champ
Look at all my fans!
Hurricane Hillary. Probably the crappiest day. Wasn't too bad but the boat was definitely rocking.
Alyssa won the first 2 out of 4 Bingo Games! she made a lot of old grandma's really  mad.
Poker face even at the craps table.
Happy Anniversary on 9/26/11. News to me! <3

DAY 6 - PUERTO QUETZAL, GUATEMALA

FINALLY! Our first port of call. Puerto Quetzel, GUATEMALA Thankfully no sea legs! 5 days of sea.. there was only so much Zumba I could fail at.

Guatemala

We decided to do the Mt. Pacaya Volcano hiking excursion with the cruise ship. Apparently there are 37 volcanoes in this small country. 3 of which, we could clearly see looming over the city. This looked straight out of the movie Apokalypto. I have never seen volcanoes that looked like these 3... instead of wide large volcanoes with broken tops, these were all narrow and cylindrical with smoke coming out of each of them all surrounding the city.

When you reach the mountain base, there are about fifty Guatemalans with horses wanting to charge you $20 to ride up the volcano. We chose not to go this route in hopes of losing weight. These Guatemalans would follow us up the mountain waiting for the weak to give up. I ended up giving up going down but only paid $3! Being the mean bf I am, I left Alyssa to fend for herself. All in all, this was an amazing hike! It was definitely different than Seattle in that the scenery would change dramatically from grassy shrubs and trees to bare lava rock and smoke. Awesome.

After getting back to the port, a group of us decided to take a taxi to Porto San Jose and hit the black sand beaches! I rented a surf board to try and learn how to surf with Andy from San Diego. Massive fail for me, massive win for him. The hardest thing to do was to ride over a wave to get into the deep :( fun though!

Alyssa, being cool, donated her glasses to the Guatemalan waves. Thankfully she had a spare set of glasses. WHO THINKS OF BRINGING SPARE GLASSES!?!?! luckily she did!

View in the morning!

Hi Island Princess! Bye Guatemala :(

DAY 8 - PUNTARENAS, COSTA RICA

2nd port of call, Puntarenas, Costa Rica! This was my favorite stop of all 5 countries.

Costa Rica was the most tropical place I have ever been. Everyone was so laid back, beaches were amazing, animals were cool, and food was great!
Our Itinerary:
1. feed monkeys
2. Sugarcane and papaya plantation
3. Ziplining in the rainforest
4. Beer at old church
5. local FOOD
6. macau sightings
7. beach
8. crocodile watching
9. marketplace/beach

All of that for $80! Originally we booked a ziplining tour with the cruise. That by itself was $100 a pop. A friend talked about a forum for seasoned cruisers so they hooked us up with this entire package for cheaper! Winning.
